Futura in Tense
Futura in Tense is a kind of conceptual typeface.
The original font Futura, designed by Paul Renner, has a meaning of "future" in its name. Inspired by this point, I redesigned the typeface by extending the concept of time in Futura's name to past, present, and future.

represents the upcoming future and (New) FuturaIn my concept, Presentra is now, at this point in time. So Pastra also literally means past. Even it does not fit perfectly with this concept, the distinguishing features of each tense are following the differentiating method of the font by the times. (the serif and Pastra, the slab-serif and Presentra, and the sans-serif and (New) Futura.)

episode 1. In the text, the future is set in the (New) Futura and the characters from the past(Fry) or the people who hint at the past(Nimoy) are typed as FuturamaThe text used in the book is the script of an American animated science fiction sitcom Pastra. The directive of the script has a current status, so it was typed by Presentra.

I hope this font will be fun to use according to the tense of the sentence, or the temporal context it implies.

*Futura in Tense is not yet complete.
